Oh my, I made it to the day we got together!! I got to your place with the flowers and a card, and I really wanted to ask you to be my girlfriend but of course you beat me to it. You asked me to close my eyes and you held my hands as you walked me into the room- when I opened my eyes, there were flower petals all over, music was playing, and the words I wanted to experience on the wall. I felt so shy, excited, and felt so many butterflies in my stomach. I was so happy I said yes like 5 or 6 times because I couldn’t tell if I said it out loud since I was so excited. I got to look into your eyes for a minute and really admire everything about you. It was the first time I could look at you like that without worry. Being your girlfriend means everything to me. I felt like I could be myself, and I wanted to love you even more. I’ll never forget our first kiss this day. I knew I wanted to wait till you were ready, but I was still surprised to know you were ready. But when I saw the way you looked at me, I knew you couldn’t wait longer. I was just happy to know we have each other. I had so many butterflies in my stomach that night, and I really didn’t want to leave you.
